Central Sterile Supervisor

Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Central Sterile Processing Supervisor to join our healthcare facility in Largo, Md. In this crucial role, you will oversee the sterilization and preparation of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the central sterile processing department
• Ensure proper sterilization and decontamination of medical instruments and equipment
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
• Train and mentor staff on sterilization techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of supplies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sterilization processes
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of sterilized items
• Identify and address any issues or concerns related to sterilization processes and equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:
• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) - Required.
• CHL (Certified Healthcare Leader) - Preferred.
• 3-5 years of SPD experience, including 1-2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
• Strong communication and coaching capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example and drive accountability.

Full-Time Day Shift Availability Required:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

COMPENSATION

• Pay Range: $28.82 - $40.35
