CGP: Accountant

Expected starting pay rate of $36.00 to $45.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage credit card transactions, process receipts, and post payments in NetSuite.
• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions while maintaining compliance with accounting policies.
• Collaborate with the order processing team to ensure accurate and timely order management and invoicing.

Requirements:

• A degree in accounting or finance, or possess equivalent practical experience.
• Have a minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in accounting and sales software, including Oracle, NetSuite, and Salesforce.
• Maintain strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and best practices.
• Possess experience with tax filings, including U.S. and Canadian sales tax reporting and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Apply strong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, across teams.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to support financial reporting and data analysis.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support financial processes and compliance.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism under pressure.
