Job Summary

East and Westbrook Construction is seeking a reliable Class A CDL Driver to transport construction materials and equipment safely and on schedule. This role supports our field operations and plays a critical part in keeping projects moving efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class A combination vehicles in compliance with DOT and company safety standards
• Transport construction materials and equipment to and from job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues
• Complete required DOT logs, driving records, and inspection reports
• Load and unload materials with proper weight distribution
• Maintain communication with field teams regarding delivery status and scheduling
• Identify and address safety hazards during transport
• Take responsibility for vehicles, equipment, and materials while in transit

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL (unrestricted)
• Current DOT medical card
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• 2+ years of driving experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work out of town as needed
• Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-focused
• Team-oriented with a professional attitude

Work Environment

• Combination of driving, loading/unloading, and job site activity
• Primarily seated while driving, with standing, walking, lifting, and climbing as required
• Work performed outdoors, indoors, and across various job site locations
