Description
Student Ambassador
The Department of Recruitment and Admissions is looking for Student Ambassadors who are interested in developing their communication, customer service, office and time management skills, which will be very helpful when applying for future internships or career opportunities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Represent CSN at educational events, college fairs, etc.
- Assist in conducting presentations and participate in various events throughout the greater Las Vegas valley.
- Provide campus tours to prospective students and families.
- Assist prospective and newly admitted students with the enrollment process.
- Greet visitors and answer/return phone calls.
- Assist in completing special projects and other duties as assigned.

Work Experience in our Department supports the following Degree/Certificate Programs: Communications – Journalism/Media Studies - Marketing - English - Business - Tourism - Accounting - Education - Psychology - Arts - Theater - Political Science - Computing & Information Technology - Photography - Graphic Communication - Video Production - Global Studies - Hospitality Management - Hotel Management - Philosophy - Sociology - Anthropology - General Science - World Languages.

Required Qualifications:
- Be friendly outgoing, and willing to learn
- Have a good understanding of diverse multicultural environments
- Be able to follow directions and communicate well
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
- Be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy

- Show a financial aid eligible major (degree or certificate program) declared with the CSN Office of the Registrar,
- Meet Financial Aid Satisfactory Progress after each semester/term to qualify for employment within the academic year, and
- Show degree compliant enrollment for each semester/term for which funding is desired.
- Be enrolled in at least 6 credits.
- *Student's cannot work another part-time position within NSHE at the same time they are employed as a CSN College Work Study student.
