Position: Commercial Vehicle Driver

Location: Blanchard Springs Caverns State Park, Fifty-Six, AR

Salary: $17.50 per hour

Position Type: Extra Help or Part-Time

Job Summary: The Commercial Vehicle Driver is responsible for safely transporting visitors between designated areas at Blanchard Springs Caverns following guided cave tours. This role plays an important part in ensuring a positive visitor experience by providing reliable, courteous, and efficient transportation services. The position supports overall park operations and may assist with additional duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a passenger bus to transport visitors along established routes following cave tours.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
• Maintain awareness of passenger safety during loading, unloading, and transit.
• Provide courteous assistance and clear directions to visitors as needed.
• Communicate effectively with staff to coordinate transportation schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Follow all state driving laws, safety procedures, and Arkansas State Parks policies.
• Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or incidents promptly to supervisors.
• Assist with visitor service needs when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license (CDL required).
• Ability to operate passenger transportation vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Dependable and punctual.
