Consumer Lending Operations – Senior Consumer Loan Officer

This is a full-time, in-office 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (with rotating Saturdays) position and a great opportunity to make an impact at a well-respected, community-focused credit union in San Diego County.

• Underwrite and evaluate consumer loan applications across auto, personal, and credit card products
• Analyze credit reports, income, and ability to repay while identifying risks and opportunities
• Provide guidance and second-level review support to branches and internal teams
• Make lending decisions within authority, including exceptions with clear rationale
• Support loan production goals while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations

Here is what we are seeking:

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5 years of consumer lending and underwriting experience
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, lending practices, and financial regulations
• Credit union experience preferred

Base Pay/Salary: $34.00 - $41.00 an hour

Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
