About the Role

Supports the commercial lending function by developing, analyzing, and maintaining financial information used in credit decisions. This role partners closely with Loan Officers and Credit Administration to ensure accurate underwriting, strong credit quality, and effective portfolio support, while also assisting in the development of junior analysts.

What You'll Do

  • Perform financial analysis on commercial credits, including relationships over $1,000,000
  • Prepare credit memorandums and loan write-ups for new, renewal, and extension loans
  • Analyze personal and business tax returns to assess borrower strength
  • Track and follow up on financial statements and required credit documentation
  • Interpret and apply credit policies and loan structures
  • Partner with Loan Officers on customer calls and relationship management
  • Assist with collection efforts on past due accounts, as needed
  • Review and support the work of junior credit analysts
  • Help train and develop entry-level analysts on cash flow analysis and credit fundamentals

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of credit analyst or related experience
  • Strong understanding of lending regulations, credit policies, and banking operations
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements and borrower risk
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
