LHH is working with a longstanding and respected manufacturing company in Moonachie, NJ in their search to add a Credit Specialist to their accounting team. What You'll Be Doing

• Manage customer credit accounts, including credit evaluations, limits, and ongoing reviews.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve credit and payment issues.
• Review and release orders in accordance with credit policies
• Process credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit files
• Assist with cash application, reconciliations, and credit reporting
• Support month-end close and audit documentation related to AR and credit

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a Credit, Accounts Receivable, or Credit and Collections role
• Background supporting customers in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of credit risk, aging analysis, and payment terms
• Detail-oriented with a professional, customer-focused communication style
• Comfortable working in a 100% on-site environment
• Someone seeking stability, consistency, and team collaboration
