Custodial/Maintenance 1st Shift

1.Experience in grounds maintenance and custodial 2.Responsible to maintaining assigned areas; in the buildings and the grounds. 3 Responsible for maintaining daily assigned areas in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner, in keeping with District-Wide standards of excellence. 4. Must have the ability to use various types of cleaning products and equipment, both powered and non-powered, and must be able to move furniture out of classrooms and offices and move back. 5.In keeping with District-Wide standards of excellence, must be able to do half the day of custodial duties and half a day of snow removal of driveways and sidewalks, minor building repairs. 6. Must have the ability to use various types of grounds and custodial equipment, both powered and non-powered. 7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as either the School Committee or Superintendent may find acceptable 8.Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and be walking or standing the entire shift, must be able to do snow removal. 9.Must be flexible in hours due to snow storms and school events (mainly 6:00am-2:00pm) or for example 5:00 am for snow removal. Salary Range $41,700 to $53,200 dependent upon relative and negotiated work experience
