What You'll Do

Clean and maintain assigned areas to ensure a safe, sanitary, and orderly environment. Prioritize tasks to address immediate needs while minimizing disruption to school activities. Perform routine cleaning duties, including floors, carpets, restrooms, furniture, windows, fixtures, and trash removal. Assist with event setup/cleanup, deliveries, and moving furnishings or equipment. Monitor building conditions and report maintenance or safety issues. Support building security by monitoring facilities, assisting visitors, and responding to community use. Provide seasonal support, including snow/ice removal and grounds care. Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and biohazard materials. Maintain effective document and records management systems in compliance with district policies.

What You'll Bring

High school diploma or GED; custodial skills verified by training and relevant work experience. Ability to work non-traditional schedules and irregular hours. Basic computer proficiency or willingness to quickly acquire job-related technology skills. High-performance standards, conscientiousness, and self-direction. Effective interpersonal skills and professionalism. Physical ability to perform medium-strength tasks, operate power equipment, push/pull, stoop, and use hand tools. Record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
