Custodian (S122)

The School Custodian is responsible for all assigned duties required for maintenance and upkeep of the school facilities and grounds.

Holds a high school diploma or GED or TASC

Holds "Custodian" classification.

Has completed the required custodial in-service training.

Evaluated by: Principal/Assistant Principal

Salary Range: Service Annual Salary Schedule

Length of Employment: 206 days

Daily Schedule: Currently – 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Responsibilities: The School Custodian shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.

Effective Employment Date: August 14, 2026
