Anthony Wayne Schools is seeking seeking a versatile and proactive individual to join our team as a Flex Custodian. This is a 5-hour, unassigned position designed to provide essential coverage across various locations/departments. Your primary mission is to "flex" into unfilled spots, ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming even when regular shifts are vacant.

Key Responsibilities:
• Dynamic Coverage: Report to different assignments daily based on staffing gaps or high-priority needs.
• General Maintenance: Perform standard custodial duties, including floor care, waste removal, sanitization, and restroom upkeep.
• Rapid Integration: Quickly adapt to the specific layouts and requirements of different buildings or zones.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain high standards of facility safety and security across all assigned areas.
Qualifications:
• Ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision.
• High level of reliability and a "team-player" attitude.
• Willingness to travel between local sites as needed.
• Previous custodial experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic is our top priority.

Custodian
Location: AW District as assigned
Hours: 5 hrs/day - 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm. While the standard block is 5 hours, there are frequent opportunities for additional hours based on district needs and special events.
Salary: Per negotiated agreement
Contract: 259 contract days
