Key Responsibilities

Facility Cleaning & Sanitation

• Perform routine cleaning of general areas including:
• • Offices, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Maintain cleanliness in designated operational support areas, including:
• • Packaging, post-processing support zones, and non-production-touch surfaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces daily
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces (door handles, time clocks, shared equipment)
• Follow approved cleaning schedules and sanitation protocols

Operational Support Cleaning (GMP-Aligned)

• Support cleaning needs in operational areas while adhering to GMP protocols:
• • Ensure proper segregation of cleaning tools between areas
  • Follow contamination prevention procedures
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness around:
• • Trim rooms, packaging areas, and staging areas (non-direct product handling)
• Properly dispose of waste in accordance with facility procedures

Supply Management & Restocking

• Monitor and restock facility supplies including:
• • PPE (gloves, hair nets, beard nets, gowns, shoe covers, etc.)
  • Break room supplies (paper towels, utensils, coffee supplies, etc.)
  • Janitorial and sanitation supplies
• Maintain organized supply storage areas
• Notify supervisor of low inventory and assist with reorder tracking
• Ensure PPE stations are consistently stocked and accessible

Waste Management

• Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and designated waste streams
• Ensure waste bins are emptied regularly and maintained in sanitary condition
• Support compliance with facility waste handling procedures

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company safety policies, including:
• • Proper chemical handling and labeling (SDS compliance)
  • Use of required PPE
• Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, or maintenance issues
• Participate in safety trainings and support safety initiatives
• Maintain compliance with:
• • Cal/OSHA requirements
  • Company IIPP and safety programs

General Duties

• Maintain a professional and respectful work environment
• Support cross-functional teams as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

• 1+ year of custodial, janitorial, or facilities experience
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and consistency

Preferred

• Experience in regulated environments (manufacturing, food production, cannabis, etc.)
• Familiarity with GMP or sanitation standards
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
• Comfortable working in indoor production and facility environments

Work Environment

• Indoor facility including office and operational areas
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals (with proper PPE)
• May involve varying temperatures depending on area
