Customer Service Clerk

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and service-driven Customer Service / Cash Office Clerk who enjoys helping others and ensuring accuracy in daily operations. In this role, you'll support front-end operations by delivering excellent guest service, handling cash office responsibilities with precision, and helping ensure smooth, efficient store transactions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Support exceptional guest hospitality by providing friendly, professional service and resolving guest questions or concerns efficiently
  • Handle cash office functions including counting drawers, preparing deposits, verifying cash balances, and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed to support accuracy, security, and compliance
  • Operate cash registers to accurately process transactions, including cash, credit, and digital payments
  • Scan items, verify pricing, and ensure accurate totals while maintaining efficient checkout speeds
  • Provide change, issue receipts, and handle returns or exchanges in accordance with company policies
  • Assist with front-end operations including register support, bagging, and maintaining organized checkout areas
  • Maintain organization and security of cash, safe, and cash office areas
  • Report discrepancies, shortages, or overages in a timely manner
  • Communicate clearly with leadership and teammates regarding cash flow, issues, and operational needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow company policies, loss prevention practices, and safety standards at all times
  • Collaborate with teammates across departments to support store operations and guest satisfaction
  • Remain productive during slower periods by assisting with front-end or administrative tasks
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Required: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Preferred: Experience in grocery or retail environments
