Front Desk Receptionist

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Front Desk Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment committed to patient care and community health.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner, creating a welcoming environment.

- Perform a variety of clerical duties related to daily front office operations, including updating and organizing patient information in charts.

- Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries and requests from patients, caregivers, and staff.

- Answer multiline telephones efficiently and professionally, directing calls as appropriate.

- Maintain appointment scheduling through the Electronic Practice Management (EPM) system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Assist with administrative tasks related to patient records, data entry, and other front desk responsibilities as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or healthcare-related training preferred.

- Proven experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in a healthcare setting.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a clear and professional demeanor.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and remain calm under pressure.

- Proficiency in using multi-line phone systems and electronic health record (EHR) or practice management software.

- Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and a compassionate attitude toward patients and their families.

Salary Description

$16.25-$22.75 hrly, $33,800-$47320 Annually
