POSITION SUMMARY
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in keeping our communities warm and safe. You will manage customer accounts, create delivery and service tickets, resolve inquiries with a friendly, professional demeanor. The ideal candidate is patient, customer focused and thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong data entry skills, and is comfortable following strict processes and safety protocols.
This is a full-time position located in Mason City, IA and will include Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
This position will also be responsible for:
- Manage Inbound/Outbound customer calls on multiline phone system
- Process payments, adjustments, corrections, and deposits
- Process delivery and product service orders, and invoices
- Update customer account information accurately
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer billing questions in person, phone, and email
- Provide comprehensive support to customers
- Work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams in person and virtually
- Handle seasonally high-volume workload with time sensitive tasks
- Other administrative duties as assigned

Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service or administration role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage a variety of high-volume tasks efficiently while ensuring project deadlines are met and tasks are completed timely
- Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills are essential
- Basic math skills to calculate gallons, taxes, and percentages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, multitasking between phone systems and computer software
