Job Title: Cycle Counter (1st Shift)
Location: Olive Branch, MS 38654
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Subject to adjustment)
Duration: Project is estimated to last 60 days; potential for extension
Openings: 2 Positions
Reporting To: Finance Manager

Job Summary

The Cycle Counter is responsible for the timely and accurate counting of materials to ensure inventory integrity. This role requires working in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, following strict safety protocols, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Counting: Accurately cycle count materials as instructed by site supervision.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all safety rules, regulations, and best practices at all times.
• Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure operational efficiency.
• Reporting: Promptly report any unsafe or unprofessional behavior to management.
• General Support: Complete any other tasks or special projects as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  • Minimum 1 year of cycle counting or warehouse experience (3 years preferred).
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Basic PC knowledge, including experience with Excel and Data Entry.
• Soft Skills: Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; must be able to follow complex procedures accurately.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Environment: Warehouse is NOT climate-controlled.
• Physical Ability:
  
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, and reach daily as needed to perform all job functions.
• Pace: Must be comfortable working in a high-speed, demanding environment.
