Data Entry Technician (PART TIME 15-20 hours weekly)

Location: St. Joseph, MI (onsite)

Hours: 8 am - 5 pm
Five days on and five days off schedule runs from Thursday to Wednesday, followed by a Thursday to Wednesday off period. (16-20 hours a week)
Hourly pay $18.76

As part of our client's criminal justice data management department, you will perform a wide range of interesting tasks, including:

• Receive qualified court orders and performs analysis to assure accuracy of data
• Enter court orders into the system and maintains an accurate file of court orders and corresponding data entries
• Perform routine audits to assure the validity of entries and revises or corrects erroneous data
• Enter Criminal Case History (CCH) into the Live-Scan biometric devices and captures corresponding ten-print images from subjects referred by the court
• Submit electronic Live-Scan CCH files and Case Transaction Number (CTN) returns for the court
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoots computer or network service issues, and facilitates solutions
• Assist with training of court officials to establish or maintain LEIN certifications and the operation of Live-Scan
• Develop and compile information from data sources to create reports, illustrations, or manuals under the direction of the Trial Court Administrator.

Requirements include ....

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
• Must possess the dexterity and mobility necessary to scan fingerprint images from subjects referred by the court.
• Prefer general knowledge of Criminal Justice procedures and terminology is a plus.
• Experience with a variety of computer applications and PC savvy
• Must have a typing speed of 40 words per minutes
