Practice Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Dental Practice Manager to join a growing, patient-focused dental practice in Bowie, Maryland. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands how to lead teams effectively, and is passionate about building systems that create an exceptional patient and employee experience.

This role requires a strong operational leader who understands how to manage practice performance, oversee day-to-day operations, drive accountability, and support long-term growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental office workflows, financial management, scheduling efficiencies, and team development.

Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred, along with prior experience using Eaglesoft practice management software.

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Two weekends per month required
  • Weekdays off provided when weekend coverage is scheduled
  • Flexible weekday scheduling based on operational needs

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary up to $80,000 annually based on experience
  • Performance bonuses with total compensation potential exceeding $100,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop front office and support team members
  • Create a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture
  • Build systems and workflows that improve operational efficiency
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance accountability discussions

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day practice operations to ensure efficiency and excellent patient experiences
  • Manage provider and hygiene schedules to maximize productivity and patient flow
  • Maintain operational systems and ensure office goals are achieved
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards throughout the practice
  • Monitor and improve case acceptance and patient retention initiatives

Financial & Business Management

  • Manage practice budgets and operational expenses
  • Understand and analyze profit and loss statements (P&Ls)
  • Drive practice growth while maintaining operational efficiency
  • Monitor KPIs, collections, scheduling efficiencies, and overall office performance
  • Partner with ownership and leadership to implement growth initiatives

Patient Experience

  • Ensure patients receive a welcoming, professional, and personalized experience
  • Resolve patient concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Foster a culture focused on relationship-building and patient satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of dental office experience required
  • Previous dental practice management or leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of dental office operations and workflow management
  • Experience managing teams, systems, and operational budgets
  • Knowledge of P&Ls and practice financial performance metrics required
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Eaglesoft experience preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
