POSITION OVERVIEW The Direct Support Professional (DSP) III plays a key role in implementing Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and supporting participants in achieving independence and well-being. This role also provides leadership and guidance to other DSP staff. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) - Lead IDT meetings and support participant goals - Provide direct care and support - Train and mentor DSP staff - Maintain documentation and reports - Transport participants safely - Facilitate learning activities - Support team collaboration and communication QUALIFICATIONS Required: - High School Diploma or equivalent - 2+ years related experience - Valid CA Driver’s License - CPR/First Aid Certification - DOJ fingerprint clearance - Must be at least 21 years of age Preferred: - Experience with developmental disabilities - Experience with assistive devices WORK ENVIRONMENT Active role across indoor/outdoor settings with physical activity and participant interaction.
