We're seeking positive, motivated individuals who embody our Core Values of Consistency, Adaptability, Reliability, and Teamwork (CART) to join our Transportation Team. You'll play a pivotal role in coordinating the daily routing and operations of our delivery vehicles while supporting our Delivery Service Representatives (DSRs), ensuring the timely, professional, and efficient delivery, setup, and breakdown of products at various venues, enhancing the overall client experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Transportation Manager with daily operations and paperwork for deliveries, pickups, will-call, and short-pulls.
- Act as primary contact for drivers and internal teams.
- Handle cash reconciliation, documentation, and reporting (including IFTA, mileage, fuel, and expenses).
- Provide will-call customer service and assist with order loading/unloading, including company and outside freight.
- Coordinate shipments, packaging, distribution, and monitor orders/changes in Sage.
- Manage routing, scheduling, driver/vehicle assignments, helpers, and next-day communication.
- Oversee Roadnet, driver communication, keys/credentials, and provide ongoing driver support.
- Maintain truck maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs.
- Monitor inventory and reports; partner with Inventory and Purchasing on shortages.
- Arrange outside freight and handle transportation-related requests.
- Perform emergency deliveries and manage DSR scheduling and ADP time entry.
- Identify process improvements, support teamwork, enforce policies, and uphold CART values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Conditions:
- Primarily office with some warehouse exposure - some areas of the warehouse may not be heated or air-conditioned.
- Outdoor exposure may occur during workdays.
- Hot and cold extremes may be experienced in the warehouse.
- Prioritize safety when operating potentially hazardous equipment, with appropriate safety measures in place.
- Handle all chemicals with care.
- Expect physical demands including bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.

Schedule and Pay:
- Pay: $22 - $27 per hour based on experience.
- Department coverage Monday - Saturday within the hours of 6:00am-7:00pm.
- 5-day workweek (Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday).
- Required Saturday shift 1 to 2 times per month.
- Shift is 10 hours long during peak season.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal).
- Strong math skills (fractions, percentages, ratios).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Sage, Roadnet, and Motive.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize with good judgment.
- Professional, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to meet deadlines and follow instructions.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly and 75 lbs. occasionally.
- Must complete Predictive Index Behavioral and Cognitive Assessments.
Compensation: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
