Shift: 6:45am-5:15pm 5- 8 hour shift in off season, 4-10 hour shifts in season. Weekends and holidays are a must.

This position is responsible for distributing, logging, and taking calls from all departments at the resort to include, Front Desk, Housekeeping partner, Maintenance, Common Areas, etc. The dispatcher will monitor and ensure all work orders are fulfilled in a timely manner to create a sense of urgency and importance for our guests and owners experience. They will complete follow-up calls to all guests’ requests and incidents to ensure guest satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include assigning Way of Maintenance, supporting our housekeeping partner and ensuring they have all communication required for housekeeping boards, scheduling mid-weeks and partnering with outside vendors to set up service for repairs. They will dispatch all communication between the proper personnel via phone or radio and provide clerical support for the department. This individual will ensure the staff’s commitment to maintaining service expectations through observation and communication.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Answer phones and radio calls in a timely and friendly manner; enter work orders and dispatch all communication of relevant information as required.
  • Follow up on all requests for service or guest/owner concerns in a timely manner to assure satisfaction.
  • Check daily housekeeping reports; monitor and update daily sheets to ensure all services are performed as needed.
  • Monitor Asgard to ensure work orders are assigned appropriately and acknowledged by team members in a timely manner.
  • Provide clerical help for the department as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of experience in the hospitality industry within a resort or customer service based environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of resort procedures and operations and ensure communication of relevant information, as required.
  • Must possess a sincere dedication to provide owner and guest satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have a commitment to a teamwork environment.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a high-pressured environment.
  • Must have computer skills to include, Microsoft programs.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and be detailed oriented.
