Driver – Industrial Parts Delivery

Connect Staffing is hiring a Commercial Driver for a CNC machining shop in Anaheim, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $23/hr, Monday through Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm. In this role, you will drive a box truck to deliver high-quality machined components, weldments, and specialty parts to customers in the aerospace, oil and gas, and automotive industries. When not on a route, you will assist in the shop with offloading deliveries and organizing the warehouse.

Pay: $23/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck to deliver machined components, weldments, and specialty parts to customers across the aerospace, oil and gas, and automotive/motorcycle aftermarket industries.
• Load and unload freight from the box truck at customer locations and the shop.
• Organize and stock the warehouse between delivery runs.
• Follow all traffic laws, delivery schedules, and company safety policies on every route.
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage route navigation and delivery confirmations.
• Report vehicle issues, delivery exceptions, or customer complaints to the shop supervisor in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of experience driving a box truck with a 12 ft or longer trailer.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience making deliveries to industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace facilities.
• Familiarity with route planning apps or GPS navigation tools on a smartphone.
• Experience loading and unloading heavy freight, including strapping and securing cargo.
• Prior warehouse experience including inventory organization or receiving.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - a plus but not required.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Commercial Valid driver's license required - driving is a core job duty.
• MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) required.
• Minimum 1 year of box truck driving experience (12 ft or longer trailer) - verified during screening.
• Drug screen required.
• Background check required.
• E-Verify / work authorization required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and frequently.
• Steel toe boots required - employee-provided.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
