Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Driver, you will safely and courteously transport seniors and mobility-impaired persons, and/or deliver bulk and Home Delivered Meals, adhering to our facility guidelines.
Every day you will conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain sanitation, report repairs, and efficiently fulfill daily assignments under direct supervision.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate commitment to safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service, with strong attention to detail for vehicle maintenance and regulatory compliance.
- Conducts daily vehicle inspection report, dependent upon vehicle operated, and submits it to leadership
- Washes and maintains vehicle in a safe and sanitary condition
- Reports all accidents and concerns associated with vehicle to the leadership or designee
- Completes deliveries in a timely manner
- Reports any unusual behavior displayed by customer(s) to leadership
- Operates two-way mobile radio and complies with all F.C.C. regulations and organization regulations
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Diploma/GED or related work experience in lieu of diploma
- Two (2) years driving experience
- Driver's License: CA
Preferred
- Basic Life Support - BLS through an American Heart Association provider
