We are currently seeking a Class A/B CDL Tri Axle Dump Truck Driver in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Class A/B CDL Tri Axle Dump Truck Driver is responsible for operating dump truck pick-up and delivery of aggregates, asphalt, rock, and other materials to/from construction sites. We are a professionally run and well-organized company, we have nice equipment, plenty of work to complete every year, and an employee-friendly business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle with at least a Class B license. Class A strongly preferred.
  • Transport goods to designated locations while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery schedules, delays, and vehicle issues.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years documented CDL dump truck driving experience
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Knowledge of DOT and CDL regulations
  • Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for long periods while driving.
  • Ability to climb in and out of the truck cabin and trailer.
  • Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Class A commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Verifiable experience with hauling or transporting heavy equipment
