Location: Remote (Philippines-based preferred
Type: Contractor (initially), with potential full-time path
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (to be discussed) + performance incentives based on
sales growth

Role Overview
You will lead the online e-commerce operations for MattyMart — a modern hybrid general
store concept (essentials, collectibles, tools, clothing, and more). Your primary focus is
driving online sales, optimizing the Shopify store, increasing traffic, and scaling digital
presence while Shairra handles higher-level strategy, local operations, and future physical
store development.

Key Responsibilities
1. Shopify Store Management & Optimization
• Full management of the Shopify store (https://cortexel-llc.myshopify.com/)
• Product listing creation, optimization, photography editing, and SEO
• Inventory synchronization and organization
• Theme customization and user experience improvements
2. Traffic & Sales Growth
• SEO (on-page, technical, and content)
• Paid advertising (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.)
• Email/SMS marketing and customer retention campaigns
• Analytics tracking (Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, etc.) and weekly performance
reports
3. Product Strategy
• Help curate and prioritize product categories (collectibles, coins, 3D-printed tools,
clothing, essentials, etc.)
• Competitor research and pricing strategy
• Launching new products and collections
4. Collaboration & Coordination
• Work closely with Shairra (Managing Partner) on overall direction
• Coordinate with Cortexel team (hardware/tools development) and other partners (Agnixa,
Belvin’s team, etc.)
• Regular updates and meetings with Matthew and Shairra5. Long-term Scaling
• Prepare systems and processes for future physical store integration
• Help develop expansion plans (additional Philippine locations, then international)
• Build automation where possible to reduce manual work
Success Metrics (First 3 Months)
• Increase monthly online sales consistently
• Achieve strong SEO rankings for key products
• Reduce cart abandonment and improve conversion rate
• Deliver clear weekly reports on traffic, sales, and opportunities
What We’re Looking For
• Proven e-commerce experience (Shopify preferred)
• Strong skills in SEO, paid ads, and analytics
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work remotely with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills (English)
• Interest in retail, collectibles, tools, or hybrid store concepts is a plus
