Title: EHS Specialist
Location: Palo Verde, CA area
Pay: $80,000 - $120,000 / Annual bonus potential / Relocation Assistance
Schedule: Flexible schedule opportunities - all in office

In this position you will have a chance to work on all energized equipment at the plant including electrical and some instrumentation & controls. Job Description:
- Maintain compliance with EPA, OSHA, NERC, and state/local environmental permits. (Title V, SWPP, SPCC)
- Prepare and submit required environmental reports (waste management, air emissions).
- Maintain OSHA 300 logs and reportable incident records.
- Develop and implement safety programs, including Lock/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, and Arc Flash Safety.
- Conduct regular facility inspections, risk assessments, and behavioral-based safety observations.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective/preventative actions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma (or equivalent). Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (Preferred).
- Experience: 2-5+ years of direct EHS experience, preferably in power generation or heavy industrial
