Electrical Assembly Technician Level III

Connect Staffing is hiring an Electrical Assembly Technician for a manufacturing facility in Cypress, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $28.50/hr or more depending on experience. In this role, you will assemble electrical components and wire harnesses, install accessories on generators and compressors, and troubleshoot electrical assembly issues across multiple workstations. Overtime is available and required.

Pay: $28.50/hr - DOE

Schedule: Monday- Friday 7 am- 345 pm + overtime and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Cut, prepare, and assemble wire harnesses and electrical components following work instructions and electrical schematics.
• Interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical documentation to guide assembly work.
• Use hand tools including crimpers, multimeters, and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Perform quality inspections and work with the quality team to identify and root-cause defects.
• Conduct basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and 5S audits in the work area.
• Assist with training and mentoring new assembly technicians.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in electrical and mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostic tools such as multimeters and crimpers.
• Experience assembling or installing components on generators, compressors, or power equipment.
• Ability to differentiate between color-coded wires and components.
• Experience working across multiple assembly workstations independently.
• Familiarity with computer-based documentation or production tracking tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and assembly work instructions.
