Description

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining all electrical equipment throughout the property.
  • Working alongside journeyman electricians and following their instructions.
  • Helping to diagnose, repair, assemble, and install various electrical components and systems.
  • Learning to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Using a variety of tools and techniques to complete electrical tasks.
  • Ordering electrical parts, maintaining work logs, and collaborating with other service workers to complete large projects.
  • Responding to work orders on a daily basis.
  • Assisting other technicians and contractors with repairs; handling day-to-day electrical operations.
  • Routinely inspecting all electrical equipment, identifying potential problems and/or safety hazards, and repairing same, as needed.
  • Conducting all necessary electrical readings on all equipment and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Wiring electrical equipment for convention exhibits and special events.
  • Learning to coordinate and install all new electrical equipment and/or wiring.
  • Maintaining all logs necessary for conformance with established standards.
  • Assisting other departments when needed.
  • Adhering to company, departmental, and safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintaining superior communication via email and pass downs to the entire department.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.

Qualification requirements include:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Appropriate electrical (ET Card) required.
  • The only way an electrical trainee can work on a job site is if they register with the state. To start this on-site experience, they must apply for their electrical training or (ET Card). And, in order to obtain this card, they must attend a school approved by the California Department of Industrial Relations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
