Opening in 1997, as a small cable assembly house, our client has grown into a vertically integrated supplier of RF and Microwave components and sub-assemblies. They have successfully supplied product to the military, commercial, medical and electronic industries. With two facilities, occupying 22,000 square feet, state-of-the-art assembly and inspection. With two facilities, occupying 22,000 square feet, state-of-the-art assembly and inspection equipment and the latest engineering software, the company has the ability to provide anything from precision machining to solving their customer's most challenging interconnect requirement, from cable assemblies, as well as the capability to integrate components to provide them with a complete sub-assembly.
The company has an immediate need for Electronic Assemblers.
The Electronic Assembler is responsible to correctly and efficiently complete boards and assemblies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must be experienced with IPC-620 soldering (not necessarily certified)
Read wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics for assembly.
Able to work with tweezers.
Assemble wires into boards and harness systems per schematic drawings.
Wrap and tie wires together at designated points to form harness.
Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.
Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.
Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
Clean up area at the end of the work day and work week.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements
High School diploma or GED, preferred Must be able to regularly sit, stand and walk
Must be able to pass a Vision exam to inspect work at a close distance
Must be able to read and understand wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics
Must be able to accurately use measuring tools and do basic math
Must be able to effectively use all tools required for wire harness assembly
Must have keen attention to detail and quality
Must be able to bend, stoop and reach
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
