Introduction Our client is a hospital hiring for an Emergency Veterinarian. This well-established facility has been serving the community for over 75 years and operates within a 10,000-square-foot space equipped with advanced technology to support high-quality emergency care. The caseload consists primarily of dogs and cats, with occasional wildlife cases managed through animal control contacts. Working Hours / Rota The hospital operates 24/7. Full-time and part-time scheduling options are available, including swing and overnight shifts. Role Description and Responsibilities Clinical responsibilities include managing emergency cases for dogs and cats, with occasional wildlife cases. Available tools and modalities support a wide range of services including digital radiology, multiple ultrasounds, endoscopy, acupuncture, oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and intensive care. Primary care capabilities also include anesthesia, dental care, dental X-rays, diagnostics, general surgery, hospitalization, pain management, radiology, routine surgeries, sevoflurane anesthesia, and spay and neuter procedures. Practice Details Equipment available includes digital radiography, multiple ultrasounds, an endoscopy tower, acupuncture services, O2 cages, a ventilator, an in-house endoscopy setup, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, an in-house pharmacy, and ample IV pumps, syringe pumps, and monitoring equipment. The facility includes an in-office surgical suite, an isolation ward, and intensive care capabilities. The hospital is AAHA-accredited. Services offered cover advanced and primary care, including endoscopy, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, Tonopen, allergy and itchy skin relief, dental care, ear checks, euthanasia services, health certificates, health exams, hospitalization, oxygen and transfusion therapy, radiology, and routine surgeries. Team The team includes 9 DVMs. Additionally, the hospital has 5 registered veterinary technicians and 57 veterinary assistants working within a collaborative and supportive environment.
