The posted compensation range of $15.67 - $22.14/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Sanitize and disinfect specific areas such as patient rooms, nurse's stations, waiting areas, meeting rooms, offices, corridors, and common areas
- Contribute to hospital efficiency and integrity by maintaining quality cleanliness in accordance with hospital and CDC guidelines
- Understand and utilize all safety guidelines and procedures when using cleaning chemicals and disposing of hazardous materials
- Inventory and ensure proper storage of hazardous materials for ignitability (flammable), corrosivity (rust), reactivity (explosive), toxicity (poison), etc.
- Appropriately display signs to prevent injuries of patients, employees, and visitors such as slips and/or falls
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning in high traffic facilities such as hospitals, clinics, hotels, casinos, convention centers, schools, and the like
