**Forklift Operators needed in Hillsboro, Tx. **

Hours: 2:00 pm - 10:30pm OR until the job is completed for the day!

**Must be available to work overtime when necessary**

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join a great company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move materials and products, including taking part in warehouse organizing and finished goods inspection, taking products off the production line and putting them away in designated locations, and loading and unloading customer trucks.

*Responsibilities*

- Safely operate a sit-down forklift

- Perform routine pre and post-inspections on forklift equipment

- Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, production output, and other key metrics, performing mathematical calculations as needed.

- Load and unload materials from trucks

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Assist in other warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:
*Skills*

- Prior experience operating a sit-down forklift or other mobile equipment.

- Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

- Basic computer, mathematics, and problem-solving skills; ability to use a calculator.

- Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers)

- Strong understanding of basic math for inventory counting

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Highly motivated with a good, sound work ethic.

- Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and processes.

MUST HAVE STEEL-TOE SHOES/BOOTS!!
