What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play a hands-on role in patient care and hospital operations, including:
- Assisting with patient exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
- Supporting doctors and technicians with patient restraint, treatment preparation, and workflow efficiency
- Monitoring patients during hospitalization and post-operative recovery
- Comforting and advocating for pets with gentle, low-stress handling techniques
- Maintaining clean, organized treatment and exam spaces to support patient safety and hospital flow
- Communicating with clients by answering questions, providing updates, and delivering compassionate support
- Learning not just how we do things but why we do them, building your veterinary knowledge and clinical confidence every day

Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; formal veterinary assistant training or certification is preferred.
- Passionate about animal care and client service
- Eager to learn and grow in veterinary medicine
- Calm, adaptable, and dependable in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Previous veterinary experience is required
Position Details
Location: 42 Alpha Drive, Newtown Square, PA 19073
Pay Range: $18–23/hr, based on experience.
