Description
The FP&A Manager serves as a key financial business partner to the Power Solutions Business Unit, driving financial visibility, forecasting accuracy, and strategic decision-making. This role leads financial planning, performance reporting, and business analysis to support continued growth, operational excellence, and margin expansion.
Working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Business Leadership, the FP&A Manager transforms financial data into actionable insights that influence pricing strategy, investment decisions, and long-term planning.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes across the business unit
• Deliver accurate and timely monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and
performance insights
• Partner closely with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to evaluate performance and
drive improvements
• Analyze cost drivers, margins, and operational performance to identify risks and opportunities
• Support working capital management including inventory, receivables, and payables
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital investments, and business growth
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, and reporting capabilities
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to senior leadership as needed
Qualifications
• 10 years of progressive finance experience with strong FP&A; focus
• Demonstrated experience owning forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning cycles
• Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills
• Experience partnering with operations or business leaders to drive performance
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly
Preferred Experience
• Manufacturing, industrial, or operations-driven business experience
• Cost accounting, inventory management, or supply chain finance exposure
• Experience leading or mentoring team members
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial planning tools
