Position Overview
The Financial Reporting Analyst at Spotless Brands supports the company's financial reporting and
analysis to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Director of
Financial Reporting, this role is responsible for producing monthly and quarterly reporting packages,
performing detailed financial analysis, and delivering timely, accurate, and well-supported financial
results.
Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, the Financial Analyst translates financial data into clear,
actionable insights that support business performance and align with corporate objectives and private
equity expectations. The role blends financial analysis with core accounting and reporting
responsibilities, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work directly with general ledger
data to understand and explain key business drivers.
The ideal candidate is analytically driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating within financial
systems to deliver accurate and meaningful reporting. This position is well-suited for a professional
looking to grow in a fast-paced, multi-site, private equity-backed environment with exposure to both
financial reporting and operational performance analysis.
Essential Functions (Other Duties as Assigned)
• Financial Reportingo Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages
o Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reporting deliverables
(management, lenders, etc.)
o Ensure consistency and accuracy between business unit level reporting and
consolidated results
o Support preparation of financial commentary (MD&A-style) for leadership reporting
o Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes, reporting efficiencies,
and data integrity• Financial Analysiso Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget, prior year, and forecast) and clearly
articulate drivers
o Monitor key performance indicators and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities
o Pull and analyze general ledger detail to support reporting and explain variances
o Investigate unusual fluctuations and partner with accounting to resolve discrepancies
o Ensure data integrity across reporting tools and financial systems• Cross-Functional Supporto Partner with operations, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment between
financial data and business performance
o Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects at the direction of the Director of Financial
Reporting
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred
• Exposure to multi-site operations, retail, or private equity-backed environments is a plus
• Familiarity with GAAP and basic accounting principles
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Understanding of financial preparation and variance analysis processes
• Familiarity with financial statement and key business performance metrics
• Knowledge of ERP systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Excel and financial modeling techniques
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data
clearly
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build strong business partnerships
• Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information appropriately

• Ability to travel occasionally to multi-site operations, investor meetings, or financial institutions
as needed, travel up to 10%
• Regularly required to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
