Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of first article parts and assemblies against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Document detailed inspection results, including dimensions, material properties, and visual characteristics, in First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Utilize a wide range of precision measuring tools and equipment, such as CMMs, calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify conformance.
• Identify and document non-conformances, initiate corrective action requests, and collaborate with engineering and production to resolve issues.
• Interpret complex blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T callouts to ensure accurate and complete inspection coverage.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection data, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO9001).

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications (GD&T).
• Demonstrated ability to use a wide range of precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Strong understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes and AS9102 or equivalent standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
