Fitness Instructor

Description

Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a full-time Fitness Instructor (1.0 FTE) to join the Fitness Center! The Fitness Instructor responsibilities will include administering fitness evaluations, providing exercise prescriptions, conducting personal training, and leading group fitness classes to WWH Fitness Center members. All of this is done to support the organization's mission while living our values.

We are looking to fill this role in June 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACSM, NETA, ACE or other nationally accredited organization)
• Certified Fitness Instructor (or in progress to become certified)
• CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience and/or training
• Membership software experience
• Specialty group fitness instructor certification(s)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to train all fitness levels
• Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
• Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and member information
• Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards
• Ability to analyze, identify, and solve problems while using sound judgment

Work Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
