Floor Assembly Team Member

A manufacturing company in Little River-Academy is seeking dependable Floor Assembly Team Members to support the final assembly and testing of products in their facility. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, comfortable working with their hands, and able to maintain quality while performing repetitive tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and test parts and systems according to company procedures
• Follow diagrams and instructions to ensure proper assembly and quality standards
• Use basic hand and power tools such as power screwdrivers, soldering irons, and small drills
• Cross-train across multiple workstations and assist with different assembly processes
• Help maintain accurate inventory counts and organized work areas
• Meet production and assembly timelines set by the plant manager
• Identify and communicate potential product or assembly issues to management
• Assist with training new team members as experience grows

Qualifications

• Ability to read diagrams and follow written instructions
• Comfort performing repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with basic quality control practices
• Experience using hand or power tools is preferred
• Reliable transportation and ability to work full-time on site
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Schedule

• 4-day work week (4/10 schedule)
• Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Includes 30-minute lunch and three 10-minute breaks
