Foods Receivers play an important role in the management of inventory, high quality ingredients and appropriate quality product levels to support the diverse menus at Aulani. Our Foods Receivers are responsible for all of Food & Beverage related warehouse deliveries inbound or outbound. This role facilitates the sourcing & research of products, confirms accuracy and quality compliance of all deliveries through verification, reconiciliation, inspection and adherence to Food Safety standards. They have financial responsibility for the accurate and efficient payment of all invoices. This role has significant partnerships with Sourcing & Procurement, Vendors and key Operational partners. They provide high degree of service levels to the Chefs/Leaders within the property.

Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge of computers and windows based programs (word, excel, outlook) • Count and order products on a daily basis • Maintains/updates necessary data/SKU's and completes food inventories in a food management system • Provide management with requested/necessary food management reports • Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet business demand • Ensure all products arrive when due • Assist checking in deliveries; food, liquor, wine and non food products • Ensure and confirm accuracy of deliveries/verifying packing slips to include weighing of products • Pull, stock, and deliver products • Ability to provide guidance and direction to Receiving Assistants • Conduct and follow weekly and or monthly inventory procedures • Reconcile and pay invoices • Track and research credits • Completes spoilage and transfer transactions in the Food Management System and ensures accuracy • Ensure proper storage, rotation, dating, and of products • Understand the principles of proper sanitation • Ability to work flexible shifts and days off to include third shift • Ability to read and write English • Ability to operate a motor vehicle – must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record for 12 months • Ability to utilize/operate receiving equipment (i.e., pallet jacks, rider pallet jacks, forklifts, etc) • Ability to maintain all internal product tracking and ordering documents • Ability to research and source items from various vendors

Basic Qualifications:
  • Occasional walking, standing, lifting
  • Constantly lifting over 10 lbs., the ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs.
  • Frequently bending/twisting at the waist, occasionally bending/twisting of the h ead or neck, occasionally kneeling
  • Constant use of hands, using repetitive wrist motion
  • Ability to utilize a ladder or step stool
  • Indoor/Outdoor work location
  • Ability to tolerate extreme temperature changes – (IE. in and out of freezers/coolers
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Food and Beverage and product knowledge
  • Experience with ordering/inventory management tools or systems
  • Previous experience in a warehouse/inventory control/supply chain environment

The pay rate for this role in Hawaii is $34.30 per hour.
