Forklift Driver

Connect Staffing is hiring an experienced Forklift Driver for a warehouse in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This is a short-term temp assignment (2-3 weeks) paying $19.00/hr with a 6:00 AM start. You will operate a forklift to move, stage, and organize incoming product as part of a new warehouse setup. This assignment is available for an immediate start.

Pay: $19.00/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM -2:30pm

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA

Job Type: Temp (2-3 week assignment)

Work Environment: Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload incoming product from trucks and staging areas.
• Stage product in designated warehouse locations according to setup plan.
• Organize and position inventory to support new warehouse layout.
• Perform general warehouse duties to support the overall facility setup.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sit-down counterbalance or stand-up reach forklifts.
• Familiarity with inventory organization and product staging workflows.
• Ability to read pallet labels, product SKUs, and basic work instructions.
• Experience working early-morning shifts in a high-volume warehouse environment.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Ability to work at a fast pace throughout the shift.
• Steel toe boots required (employee-provided).
