Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Southaven, MS

Pay Range: $16.75/hr

Shifts:

  • 3rd Shift: 11 pm - 7:30 am (Sunday night - Friday morning)
  • 1st Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm Mon-Fri
  • 2nd Shift: 3 pm - 11:30 pm Mon-Fri

What's the Job?

  • Operate forklift equipment such as dock stock or reach trucks to move materials efficiently and safely.
  • Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
  • Perform routine safety checks and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to support team productivity.

What's Needed?

  • At least one year of recent experience operating forklift equipment, (dock stock or reach trucks.)
  • Proficiency in operating stand up lift trucks.
  • Valid forklift certification
  • Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented attitude.
