Location: Salinas, CA

Schedule: 4:00PM - 12:30AM

Pay Rate: $24.50/HR

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility using forklifts and scan guns. This position supports multiple departments and must follow all safety, GMP, and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, move, stage, and rotate materials using FIFO
• Use scan guns for receiving, shipping, picking orders, inventory counts, and documentation
• Stage materials for blending and pack-out, remove trash and waste, and organize pallets
• Verify products and quantities for receiving and shipping; complete required paperwork
• Pre-stage orders and load trucks
• Keep work areas clean and organized, including warehouse, yard, docks, and cold storage
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any safety or equipment issues
• Assist with 12-pallet/tube operations, cooling, and inventory as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Forklift experience required
• Scan gun experience required
• Forklift certification preferred (training available)
• Basic math skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to work in cold, wet, and fast-paced environments
• Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays
