Position Overview
This position provides general administrative and operational support for the department.
Work Schedule: 6:45 - 9:15 AM; 5:15 - 8 :15 PM. Days may vary Monday - Friday and occasional weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greets and assists members and visitors.
- Addresses inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
- Receives money.
- Assists patron with program registrations.
- Performs other related job duties as assigned.
- Light cleaning of equipment.
- Monitor facility use.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Licenses or Certifications: Must possess or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of County and departmental policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.
- Skill in performing data entry.
- Skill in operating a multi-line telephone system.
- Skill in prioritizing and organizing work.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to assist employees.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with management, employees, members of the general public and other groups involved in the activities of the County as they relate to the department.
