Job Description

Ensures that all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area utilizing effective time management skills.

Ensures restrooms and locker rooms are presentable for usage through the performance of functions as follows:

Inspect restrooms, identifying supplies needed for restocking.

Clean Mirrors

Clean sinks and countertops.

Clean and sanitize shower area.

Refill Soap Dispensers

Clean walls (including stall doors, walls, ledges, and toilet paper holders)

Replenish paper products.

Empty trash containers.

Clean toilets (seat, base, behind and under)

Clean urinals (walls, floor around urinal and under)

Sweep and mop floors.

Maintain inventory and cleanliness between cleanings.

Ensures Main Building, stairways, elevators, and Lobby are clean and presentable through the performance of functions as follows:

Clean walls (clear cobwebs from corners, remove dead bugs)

Clean windows and doors

Clean and dust displays and furniture.

Clean and disinfect water fountains.

Empty trash containers

Sweep and mop floors.

Vacuum carpet flooring.

Sweep and blow entrances into the building.

Ensures Grounds and Exterior areas meet contractual expectations by performance of following functions:

Keep the entrance doors and windows clean.

Keeps sidewalks and walkways clear of litter and debris.

Empty all trash cans and take them to the dumpster.

Replenish supplies as requested in appropriate areas.

Wash and dry rags and mop heads.

Maintains professional conduct in accordance with WSC policy.

Performs other job-related duties as required by the supervisor.

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

Occasionally Exposed to noise.

Wet and Humid conditions. (Outdoor weather related)

Occasionally Heavy Work including sustained movement and pushing or moving equipment or supplies. Up to 25 pounds

Frequently Repetitive motion utilizing equipment or supplies for extended duration in medium sized work areas. Up to 20 pounds

Constantly Consistent motion utilizing light weight equipment or supplies for extended duration in large work areas. Up to 10 pounds

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Varies; will likely work nights, weekends, and holidays. Typically scheduled.

Travel Travel is generally not expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience No required education level is specified.

Preferred Education and Experience High School Diploma/GED 1 Year plus janitorial experience 1 year plus work experience

Work Authorization/Security Clearance Drug Screen WSC Background Check Contractor Background Check Immunization certification (Contractual Requirements) Driver's License (Preferred not Required)
