General Gate Administration Team

Job Description

Premier Staffing Solution is hiring experienced General Gate Administration Team Members for one of our clients in Louisville, KY. As an Gate/Administrative team member, you will be responsible for assisting inbound/outbound drivers. This is a direct hire full time position that offers competitive compensation with paid holidays, vacation, and 401k plan.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• • Process inbound/outbound drivers
  • Verify driver ID for CTPAT regulations
  • Assign all RFID tags and maintain tag inventory
  • Trouble shoot any paperwork, systems, or appointment discrepancies
  • File all necessary paperwork
  • Communicate with the plants, ADC, and carriers
  • Verify SCAC, trailer numbers and correct paperwork are provided at time of arrival
  • Follow International discrepancy process when necessary
  • Verify Bill of Lading matches physical trailer upon departure of Appliance Park
  • Verify trailer accuracy by performing lot checks in a company vehicle
  • Extract data from our Yard Management System for reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• • Experience working in team-oriented environment
  • Transportation or warehouse experience preferred
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent judgment and decision making
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Application Software, including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Excellent customer service
