General Warehouse

About the Opportunity

All this beer has to come from somewhere and delivery to our valued customers starts with the teams that work in our warehouses. Our dedicated warehouse associates are the key to ensuring that our products make it onto our trucks and out for delivery. They contribute directly to Eagle Rock's success by efficiently picking, loading and unloading products and by taking great care of our inventory to avoid breakage.

Specific job duties include:

  • Loading route vehicles in accordance with load sheets
  • Ensuring product is properly counted and tagged with account information to ensure accurate loading of trucks
  • Operating warehouse equipment, including forklift, lift gate, dock-leveler and wrap machine
  • Ensuring proper standards are followed when performing repack and/or breakage repairs
  • Ensuring damaged product is placed in its proper area and reported to management
  • Keeping work area clean and accessible
  • Receive product - check and verify BOL, check in through warehouse management system (WMS) system
  • Stage product or position in warehouse
  • Consolidating rows and shifting
  • Operate forklift
  • Moving materials and items throughout warehouse as designated by our WMS or supervisor
  • Ensuring damaged product is placed in its proper area and reported to management
  • May manage the return of products and be asked to assist pickers as needed
  • Keeping work area clean and accessible. Works carefully and safely to avoid injury to self or others, or damage to property or product
  • Performs general warehouse duties as required
  • Accurately and efficiently identifies and picks product required to fill orders
  • Build loads on pallets, uses machinery to shrink wrap loads and positions loads appropriately to facilitate the loading process
  • Replenishes product levels as needed to ensure that product is readily available during the picking process
  • May be required to load delivery vehicles
  • Ensures that damaged product is placed in its proper area and reported to management
  • Keeps work area clean and accessible
  • Works carefully and safely to avoid injury to self or others, or damage to property or product
  • Performs general warehouse duties as required

Warehouse Associates work hard and play hard; and, to do this safely, it's important that they be able to meet the physical demands of the position, which include:

  • Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching and twisting for shifts lasting 8+ hours
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to push and pull up to 340 lbs. on a two-wheeler and up to 700 lbs on a cart
  • Comfort working in refrigerated areas of the warehouse and in environments with unregulated temperature

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range: $20-$23 per hour

(Actual compensation offer to candidates may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.)
