Guest Room Attendant

Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). MSTS is seeking a Guest Room Attendant to join our Housing, Food Services and Custodial Team at the NNSS.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities:

  • Perform general custodial duties such as vacuuming, emptying trash, dusting, mopping and sweeping.
  • General cleaning duties such as restroom cleaning, cleaning showers, cleaning offices, lounges and hallways, etc.
  • Replenishing use items such as soap, tissue and paper products as needed.
Qualifications

Due to the nature of our work, US citizenship is required for all positions.

  • Must be able to perform general housekeeping services. This includes vacuuming, emptying trash, dusting, mopping, sweeping, clean bathrooms and showers, general cleaning, lounges and hallways, etc., stock linen, soap, tissue and paper products as needed.
  • Must be able to drive a standard & automatic vehicle.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions of this position.
  • Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job to include occasional lifting and carrying, occasional pushing and pulling. Must be capable of lifting a minimum of fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to stay on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, understand, and follow written and/or verbal instruction in English.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • The primary work location will be at the Nevada National Security Site (located 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada).
  • Work schedule for this position will be 4/10's, Monday – Thursday (subject to change). Must be willing and able to work varied shifts and locations.
  • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

Ability to obtain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential under the Department of Energy Order 206.2, 'Identity, Credential, and Access Management,' and Supplemental Directive NNSA SD 206.2, 'Implementation of Personal Identity Verification for Uncleared Contractors.'

Hourly wage for this position is $27.33.
