Haul Truck Operator – Off Highway

Job Descriptions:

The Haul Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating 60-70 - ton haul trucks transporting sand/gravel/rocks with a surface mining environment. This position will also operator other heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, etc. as needed.

What you will do:

• Safely operate 60-70-ton haul trucks to transport aggregate materials within the plant environment.

• Perform and document daily equipment inspections

• Conduct minor maintenance and basic repairs on heavy equipment

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; reporting any unsafe behaviors/conditions immediately to management

• Follow all safety policies, procedures, operating procedures and MSHA regulations

• Work extended hours, weekends as needed

• Other duties as needed

Required Experience:

What you need:

• Haul Truck experience, preferably in a mining setting - 6 months to 1 year of related construction/mining required

• No CDL required

• Working knowledge/experience of heavy equipment operation

• Be dependable, self-motivated

• Experience using a variety of hand tools is a plus

• Ability to perform and document equipment inspections

• Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions at elevated areas

• Ability to walk, stand, climb, balance, grasp and perform manual tasks.
