Position: Head Custodian (S1528)

Location: Mountain View Elementary

Evaluated by: Principal/Assistant Principal

Salary Range: Service_Salary_Schedule_2024_Annual.pdf based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.

Job Description: The Head Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and general upkeep of the school facilities and grounds.

Qualifications: Holds a high school diploma or GED or TASC, Holds "Custodian" classification, has completed the required custodial in-service training.

Length of Employment: 225 Days

Daily Schedule: Currently – 5:30 am - 1:30 pm

Responsibilities: The School Head Custodian shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.

Effective Employment Date: June 8, 2026
